Currently, there are over 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States. Thousands attend college, yet many people are oblivious to this fact because undocumented immigrants are just like every other American. This honors thesis takes a look at the lives of undocumented students at the University of Arkansas, and bring awareness to the issues they face. Furthermore, these eight broadsides address the duality of American views on immigration meanwhile breaking some of the most common stereotypes of undocumented immigrants.
In addition to this poster series, there is a companion accordion fold available. This artifact is made up of a collection of stories from undocumented students at the University of Arkansas describing their experience in coming to America and their dreams for the future.
These posters were housed in Gearhart Hall at the University of Arkansas for six months.
